Workshops for Youth and Families (WYF) is an award-winning, non-profit organization that was founded in 1979 to foster personal leadership and resiliency in youth through programs that inspire positive growth and change. Since its inception, WYF has served more than 20,000 youth and their families through week-long summer programs and year-round afternoon programs for ages 9 - 19. By providing a safe and engaging learning environment, WYF helps youth develop social and emotional skills, nurture strengths, gain tools to face peer pressure and learn how to build strong, healthy friendships. All programs are held at the Homestead Community Center at 18600 N. 98th St. in DC Ranch (Scottsdale, AZ). To find out more about their programs, call 480-882-6011 or visit www.workshopsaz.org.
